Statement of Purpose

The mission of the NCGR-Professional Astrologers' Alliance is to serve as a trade association to promote the common interests of astrologers and to improve the status of the profession of astrology primarily through the implementation of a certification program, the promotion of high ethical standards in the practice of astrology, as well as any other matters relevant to the professional astrologer.

Services

E-mail: PKayPhD@gmail.com. The concentration of my practice is consulting, and includes teaching and speaking. My focus in consulting is on the spiritual core and purpose of our lives, and the ways in which we manifest our selves and purposes in the world through our personalities, relationships, and life experiences. I strive to get to the heart of issues and events so that clients can understand and resolve issues to be able to move closer to life goals and fulfillment.

Spiritual growth is our karma and destiny, and we have free will to choose how to manifest it. Astrology provides in-depth information with which we can make the most insightful decisions from the widest range of possibilities. Tarot and the I Ching are also ancient tools for answering questions. Researching and communicating this information is my practice with clients, students, in speeches, and at parties.

Client consulting and student tutoring can be done by phone or in person. Fees are charged for the time we spend in session: astrology $150 per hour, tarot $50 per half hour, I Ching $100 per hour. Tutoring is $50 per hour. If enough students are interested we can form a course for study. Fees for courses, speaking, and parties are determined per project.

Clients please note well that the premise of my entire practice is client self-responsibility. When you choose to engage any of my services you acknowledge that you are solely responsible for your decisions and actions. All client information is kept absolutely confidential.

Colleagues and students please note that I use the sidereal system because it is astronomically accurate and includes stellar perspective.

Certifications

I have been NCGR Level IV certified since the very first round of people were certified. I am also certified for Consulting specialty of Level IV.

For thirty years I have practiced astrology professionally, including consultations, teaching, mentoring and classes, lecturing, and private and corporate parties.
My PhD is interdisciplinary in Theology, Ethics, and the Human Sciences/Psychology, from Chicago Theological Seminary, University of Chicago affiliate. My MA is in Theology (MTS) from Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary, Northwestern University affiliate. My Bachelors (AB) is in Psychology from the University of Chicago. I have a two year technical degree in business, and am trained in business and professional speaking.
